Christmas at the Botanics

Christmas at the Botanics is our only trail in Scotland and is now in its ninth year. 

The Gardens are located in the city centre. The light trail has many local visitors who return year-on-year, and who have made the trail part of their festive celebrations, as well as visitors from across the country and beyond who come to Edinburgh to celebrate Hogmanay. 

The garden is home to one of the world's richest botanical collections and a global centre for biodiversity, science, horticulture and education. Working with them year-round, the team installing the trail pay particular attention to the garden's biosecurity working practices and prioritise keeping power requirements to a minimum.
