Art in the Dark

We are leaders in the creation of light trails worldwide. Since 2004, we have created light art experiences in some of the most environmentally sensitive heritage and landscape settings in the World.

In partnership with each venue:

  • We curate the content - working with international and local artists, and our inhouse set dressing team
  • We light the landscape - using our in-house team of lighting experts
  • We build the infrastructure - led by our experienced production team
  • We manage the operation of the event - from licensing to ecology, stewarding to medics 
  • We remove every piece of waste - making sure that we leave no trace behind

ITHRA

In 2023 we were invited to create a trail in Dhahran. This was our first trail created in a country with extreme hot temperatures.
So, we consulted with various international artists about the work that we wanted to showcase on the trail, and worked with a local crew to install the work.

LIGHTSCAPE

Lightscape is a winter light trail which takes place in some of the most spectacular landscapes and botanic gardens in the world. In partnership with Raymond Gubbay, a division of Sony Music, we work with local and international artists, lighting designers, and musicians, to curate the content for our trails. Currently LIGHTSCAPE takes place in venues in Australia and the USA.

HALLOWEEN

Our Halloween Trails create ghostly spaces, using fire, lanterns, pumpkins, neon cobwebs and sound. We also hire actors to take on various roles including Dracula, Frankenstein and the Headless Horseman, to create a truly spooky experience.
