Worldwide Impact

No matter where we are in the world, we are committed to creating excellent experiences for audiences without compromising our commitment to the environment.

Environmental Impact

With a focus on reducing environmental impact, our events feature carefully planned energy usage, and innovative solutions to minimise our carbon footprint.

Power

Wherever feasible, mains power is utilised in favour of generators. When generators are necessary, they are meticulously specified and operated to ensure the most efficient fuel usage.

Lighting

Around 90% of our lights have been replaced with LEDs, significantly reducing energy consumption. Continuous lighting of our outdoor trails and paths is avoided, with audience area lighting used only if absolutely necessary for public safety.

Renewables

All run on Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), a renewable biofuel that significantly reduces environmental impact compared to traditional diesel or petrol.

Environmental Audits

As an organisation, we are frequently chosen for our wealth of experience in working in environmentally sensitive  heritage and landscape settings.

We audit our light trails to measure and capture scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions data so that we can regularly monitor our impact, reduce our emissions and keep improving our practice.

Ecological Surveys

We also regularly commission full ecology surveys before we begin work on any of our outdoor trails in sensitive landscapes. This is to check for any wildlife activity, understand patterns of hibernation, and understand the impact that we could potentially have on the flora and fauna at the venue.
