Tony Simpson has over 30 years experience as a lighting designer and practitioner. Working across a wide range of disciplines including feature film (Bohemian Rhapsody, Mission Impossible: Rouge Nation, Disney's Beauty and the Beast); fashion (L'Oreal, Ralph Lauren, Cottweiler and Gucci at Westminster Abbey); corporate productions (Rolls Royce, Cartier and Selfridges); orchestras, ballet, theatre productions, and opera - both West End and touring.
Before working full time at Culture Creative, Tony was our lighting consultant. Today, he oversees all our lighting hires and manages our team of freelance designers, who light our Christmas and Winter trails worldwide.

Our Team of Associates

Tyler Forward
Lighting and Video Designer
Tyler Forward is a Lighting and Video Designer. As our Associate Designer, Tyler has worked on Neverland at Kenwood House, Christmas at Blenheim Palace and Halloween at Thetford Forest. Tyler has also worked as a theatre lighting designer and on major exhibitions including Wes Anderson's Asteroid City Exhibiton and Future Shock.


Jack Goodwin
Lighting Programmer & Visualisation Specialist
Jack is a Lighting Programmer and Visualisation Specialist working across Culture Creative’s illuminated trails and event projects. Collaborating closely with the team of associates, he develops and programmes lighting systems, creates pre-visualisation models and supports the delivery of installations from initial concepts through to on-site programming and delivery. His work spans several of Culture Creative’s Christmas and Halloween trails, including Kew, Blenheim, Westonbirt, Moors Valley, Wimpole and Stourhead. Alongside his work for Culture Creative, Jack programmes and designs lighting for many theatre productions.


Declan Randall
Set & Lighting Designer
Declan Randall has been working on our Christmas light trails at Bedgebury and Dunham Massey for 6 years. He has also worked extensively in opera, drama, dance and musicals for over 25 years and was recently triple-nominated for the South African Theatre Awards for Best Set-, Best Lighting- and Best Projection Design for his work on Sister Act in Johannesburg. In addition to his theatre work, Declan has also worked in film, television, fashion, architecture, corporate events, exhibition design and site-specific works, and teaches lighting at various colleges in the UK.
