The Carbonium is an illuminated tree sculpture with bare knotty branches. It looks like a tree in winter that is bearing delicate, luminous buds, or is hanging with incandescent dewdrops clinging to its branches that have been taken by surprise by night.
This immersive, welcoming tunnel of warm light is equally spectacular when viewed from the inside or out. Inspired by arched church windows and appearing from a distance to be a single solid shape, the Winter Cathedral is illuminated by tens of thousands of LED light globes.
A light prism tunnel made up of 19 LED triangles, spanning over 40 metres in length, adds an incredible immersive sound and light experience to the trail.
Each unique feather is handcrafted using a steel rod, and painted to glow pure white at night. They twist and turn gracefully, as though lifted by a sudden gust of wind, slowing your step and spreading a sense of tranquillity throughout the space.
'Floraison' is created from hundreds of brightly coloured poppy flowers that look as though they want to fly away but instead they have been trapped in the branches of trees.
