Christmas at Bedgebury

This year Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest celebrated its 100th birthday.

Each year, the team lights up the forest's world-leading collection of conifers, and this year, to celebrate this 100th year milestone, the festive lights were programmed to ensure that every visitor knew the trees are the stars of the show.  

New installations included the enchanting ‘Light as a Feather’ by Pyrite Creative, the warming glow of ‘Floating Candles’ by Pitaya, and the harmonious ‘Choir of Trees' by ITHACA Studio.

Summing up this year's show Kent Life said: "Heading into the forest, the smell of the trees and then the light shows proved a sensational experience.

As soon as you descend the path into Bedgebury you are greeted by an amazing display on the lake, giving you a taste of things to come.

There are coloured light shows akin to those at Las Vegas and we loved the Harry Potter style candle section."
