THE STABLES EXHIBITION
In 2020, we were invited to create an immersive and interactive experience in the historic stable block at Blenheim Palace.
The focus of our brief was to showcase the importance of horses at Blenheim through the centuries. So, using props created in-house, commissioned by artists, and existing items in the Palace store, we worked closely with the team at the Palace to create this new permanent exhibition.

The team worked closely with the exhibition team to restore the original tack room, and recreate the stable office as part of the exhibition. They also created a life-size model of Winston Churchill's childhood pony Rob Roy in one of the stables, and a dressing-up area where visitors can attempt to ride side saddle.
This is a permanent exhibition celebrating the life of horses, and in particular their working lives. It appeals to visitors of all ages interested in the history of Blenheim through the centuries, and has been enjoyed by millions of visitors since it opened.
