The Pleasure Gardens in the grounds of Blenheim Palace, required re-presenting to visitors as a space that could accommodate free flow play for families, year-round.

We were engaged to explore different ways the Pleasure Gardens at Blenheim Palace could be re-presented to add value for visitors. Within their historical context, the gardens were to be given a contemporary feel with a focus on recreation and entertainment. Aimed at families and with a clear need to generate income for the wider Estate, we created a proposal that included:
Space for picnics and seating.
A play park for children of different ages.
Field to fork and outdoor kitchens offering food education, an adventure playground.
A refresh of the Marlborough Maze.
The inclusion of a water feature.
A band stand.
A 'sitooterie' or outdoor seating area.
