In 2022, Culture Creative took on the creation and management of an event to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the fire that almost destroyed Seaton Delaval Hall.
The fire in 1822 destroyed an entire wing and left the central block of the hall a blackened shell, this event held on 3 Jan, was, despite the seasonal weather, sold-out and received wonderful comments from audiences.
The event included an outdoor trail, a theatre show and a riddle for audiences to solve. There was also marshmallows, fire eaters, hot food and drink and live music.
