CHRISTMAS AT BLENHEIM PALACE | ARTISTS 2023
The Papyrus stretches out its white leaves in the sun, throwing delicate and thin shadows around. At night its leaves starting blowing a bright warm light and vibrant colours lighten up its stems and leaves in sequences.
Around a hundred candles seemingly float in the air, suspended overhead. Flickering flames illuminate the tree-lined passageway and immerse the audience in a magical, festive atmosphere.
Imagine five giant chandeliers looking like they had fallen from an invisible ceiling in the sky. There, they wait for people to come around before they suddenly start playing a silent yet captivating ballet of colours to create a magical open-air ballroom.
This immersive, welcoming tunnel of warm light is equally spectacular when viewed from the inside or out. Inspired by arched church windows and appearing from a distance to be a single solid shape, the Christmas Cathedral is illuminated by tens of thousands of LED lights.
