The Seeds
A World Premiere. Seeds are a powerful symbol of renewal, and of new beginnings. They offer a genuine promise of the future and a reminder of nature's generosity.
Through difficult times many of us have engaged more than ever with the importance and beauty of the natural world. The Seeds are intended to be large, breath-taking artworks (2.5m tall and 2.68m wide) and are equally impressive during the day as stand-alone white sculptures as they are at night.
Studio Vertigo is an art and design collective based in the UK and founded by artists Lucy McDonnell and Stephen Newby to explore the relationship between objects, viewers, and their environment. The studio creates light installations and sculpture for international exhibition. Their work can be seen this year at various light festivals around the UK, Amsterdam Light Festival, Lightworks Copenhagen, and Vivid Sydney.
