Liquid PXL

Liquid PXL, led by Abram Santa Cruz, is a Los Angeles-based group of artists, engineers, and friends dedicated to creating fun and large-scale interactive art installations.

Liquid PXL's first major art project was featured at Burning Man in 2012, followed by their first music festival exhibit at Lucidity in Santa Barbara, California, in 2013. Since then, they have completed six art installations, with two projects awarded the Arts Grant from Burning Man, and several works exhibiting internationally.

The Electric Dandelions are giant steel and acrylic sculptures that represent a dandelion flower during the day and come to life at night as an endless firework display.

Each dandelion sculpture is 28ft tall and has a beautiful and elegant design to it. Their spherical shape is attributed to the geodesic sphere that lies at the heart of the Dandelion. Forty-one light tubes crop out from the vertices. At Night, the geometric dandelion sculptures come to life as the LED animations take hold and mesmerize you with their bright and intense endless firework display.
