The Snow Queen at Wentworth Woodhouse

This year, we took our Snow Queen show, that was first seen at Blenheim Palace, to Wentworth Woodhouse in Rotherham. 

The show is created by our inhouse prop and design team led by BAFTA award-winning designer Clare Elliot.

Every year, Wentworth Woodhouse introduces a new tale as part of their Christmas celebrations and this year we were delighted that we could get involved and install The Snow Queen. 

Following a trail through the house, visitors follow Gerda’s journey to rescue her friend Kay, moving through sets of enchanted gardens and princely chambers to darker robber’s dens and, finally, the icy palace of the Snow Queen herself.

The story is told indoors across 13  spaces in the House. Each with its own enchanting soundscape and immersive set design.
