Glow Marwell and Grotto Experience

This is our first-ever trail at Marwell Zoo, and we were delighted that our inhouse creative team was also invited to create a brand new Santa Grotto at Marwell Hall.
For the past three-years we have created a hugely successful trail at Chester Zoo, so with our understanding and experience of curating an evening trail that is light and sound sensitive to the zoo's animals, we were invited to create this year's spectacular winter light trail.

Our inhouse design team created this year's Festive Grotto Experience at Marwell Hall. The brief for the experience was to include:
A woodland-themed area in the Tudor Rose Hall, where children can settle down on a log stool cushion for storytelling from one of Santa’s elves.
A Santa’s Workshop where families can create a Christmas decoration to take home with them.
A Post Room to write a letter to Santa and take a selfie in his sleigh.
And, finally, Santa's grotto itself where children can visit Santa.
The team also created a 'pesky penguin' trail for children which involves spotting a penguin in each room.
