BLYTH TALL SHIPS FESTIVAL

Culture Creative managed the North Sea Tall Ships Regatta event in 2016 at the Port of Blyth. This was a four day celebration over the August bank holiday when thousands of visitors descended in Blyth to watch 30 magnificent Tall Ships sail into the port. Culture Creative were contracted to deliver the event and also run a family festival with music, local food and drink stalls, fairground rides, sandcastles, and entertainment from The Cod Choir and Mischief La-Bas. Other highlights included a crew parade and firework displays held on three out of four nights. This maritime celebration marked the 60th anniversary of The Tall Ships Races.
