The Departure
The Departure recreates the experience of dolphins playfully riding the wake of people’s boats, as they do in the ocean.
Singularity
Singularity is a monolithic suspended sphere of abstract and dynamic light and movement. A symphonic compression and dilation of energy in slow motion.
Liquid Lake
Liquid Lake is created using coloured laser beams and fog to produce a canopy of light overhead.
Crystalize
Large, colorful crystals seem to have formed randomly on the branches of the trees.
By day, the dichroic material reflects the sun in a thousand colors and casts coloured shadows on the branches and ground.
At night, the crystals light up as if animated by a glow of their own, creating a magical atmosphere.
Forest of Light
Forest of Light is a large-scale installation that covers the ground with thousands of individually controlled balls of LED light animated to a bespoke soundtrack.
Mycelium Network
The mushrooms slowly transition through several colours whilst the mycelium strobes and pulses. They almost look as if they are moving around and sending messages similar to a human nervous system.
Moonlight Flowers
A field of 22 flowers beautiful at day and night time. Each up to 3.5m in height and made from 3D steel covered with UV and with small LED bulb spheres placed in the crown of the flowers to create stamen like elements, that have a special glow and animated sparkly effect.
Lili
These abstract, illuminated flowers reach approximately 3m in height and spread across an area of 5.5m. Visitors can look up at the flowers as their leaves soar into the sky.
Papyrus
The Papyrus stretches out its white leaves in the sun, throwing delicate and thin shadows around. At night its leaves starting blowing a bright warm light and vibrant colours lighten up its stems and leaves in sequences.
Peonies
Elegant flowers gracefully stretch upwards, each as a bouquet of three flower heads offering their finely shaped white petals to the sun.
Shadowland
A place where physics meets art and art meets fun. Using the principles of the primary colours of light and additive colour mixing, we create a lighting world that appears neutral until you enter - and then your shadows are fractured into magical colours.
Komorebi
The Japanese expression for "dappled light through the leaves" this installation plays with light and sound to create a festive pathway of dappled light. The music for this installation was composed by Kate O'Hanlon.
Ice Trees
A little frozen winter fun as we light up the trees in cool blues and whites. Add a splash of festive projected images and it's Christmas!
Red Woods
These majestic trees needed a majestic lighting treatment. By rigging the lights way up high we are able to highlight just how magnificent these redwoods are. This son et lumiere experience celebrates our love of holidays and festive cheer.
Cascade
Over 400 cascading light tubes are suspended from the trees against an assortment of neon lit backdrops.
Floating Candles
Around a hundred candles seemingly float in the air, suspended overhead. Flickering flames illuminate the tree-lined passageway and immerse the audience in a magical, festive atmosphere.
Fire Dancers
Fire Dancers is inspired by Christmas table-top chimes and happy memories of celebratory gatherings. The installation symbolises joyful expression, human unity and gentle optimism.
Crocus Lawn
Like the familiar spring-time flowers these one-metre high crocus are bursting with light and colour.
Rainbow Hedge
The world-renowned beech hedge at the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh is awash with all the colours of the rainbow.
