National Herbarium of Victoria
Behind the walls of the Herbarium building a team of dedicated scientists undertake research to improve our knowledge of the plants, algae and fungi that sustain life on Earth
Alongside them, skilled curators care for Australia’s largest botanical collection. Together, their work plays a vital role in understanding the diversity of plants, algae and fungi in Victoria, and the complex ecological relationships that support their survival.
More information on the work by the team at the Herbarium can be found HERE.
