INDOOR TRAIL EXPERIENCE

In 2018 we created 'Cinderella' our first indoor trail experience through the State Rooms of Blenheim Palace. In 2019 we returned with 'Alice in the Palace', in 2021 we produced 'The story of The Nutcracker' and in 2022 we returned with 'The kingdom of the Snow Queen', 2023 The Story of Sleeping Beauty with a contemporary twist and this year we return with Neverland® in the Palace the swashbuckling story of Peter Pan.

Neverland® in the Palace

This Christmas Blenheim Palace will take visitors on a swashbuckling adventure in Neverland. They will follow Tinkerbell through the State rooms as she sprinkles fairy dust over baubles and Christmas trees, wander through a moonlit London skyline and onto the Mermaid Lagoon. JM Barrie gifted the rights to Peter Pan to Great Ormond Street Hospital in 1929 and we are pleased to be supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity this Christmas.

The Story of Sleeping Beauty

Blenheim Palace will be transformed this winter into the setting for the classic fairytale of Sleeping Beauty for a new generation. Each room will tell a different chapter in Sleeping Beauty’s story using props and festive decorations.

On the way to Aurora’s candle-lit bed chamber, visitors will wander through the Evil Fairy’s spooky wooded lair and into the castle frozen in time. There will be spinning wheels and fluttering fairies to watch out for as they follow the Lilac Fairy on her quest to reawaken Sleeping Beauty in the castle after 100 very sleepy years…

The Kingdom of the Snow Queen

Each of the Palace rooms was exquisitely transformed and filled with hidden surprises. The glistening Land of Snowflakes was filled with a silvery frost-covered forest and the Kingdom of Ice was adorned with larger-than-life shimmering crystals.

The Snow Queen built on the success of 2021’s Nutcracker and Sugar Plum Fairy encounters at Blenheim Palace provided by Rusticus – experts in improvised performance and joyful encounters nationwide.

The Story of The Nutcracker

In 2021 the Palace rooms were exquisitely transformed and filled with hidden surprises – from the toymaker’s workshop on a frosty Christmas Eve; through the glistening Land of Snow and onto the candy-cane Kingdom of Sweets adorned with the sweetest of treats and larger-than-life gingerbread men. The story of The Nutcracker was a fairy-tale world where nothing was quite as it seems, from a dashing Nutcracker Prince and an army of mice, to a Sugar Plum Fairy and a music box with a difference.

Cinderella

This magical experience was first installed in the State Rooms at Blenheim Palace in 2018.
