Artists Martha Ellis and Luke Oldale designed and made the Dragonflies for Christmas at Delamere Forest. Inspired by the work of pop artist Roy Lichtenstein and contemporary Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama.

With over 30 years’ combined experience of 3D construction, Martha and Luke’s background were a perfect match. Martha has made willow and bamboo light sculptures for both theatre and community arts from a young age and Luke has made large scale metal and wood constructions for theatre, film, television and events.
